In 2021, after a long and successful relationship with Performance Plus, TJ resigned from his position as their DDG Broker and went out on his own. On April 5, 2021, Mid America Distillers was incorporated.

 If you are new to the product or a longtime local yard, TJ has over 20 years experience in marketing distiller grains and is committed to providing you the same superior service he provided while at PPL.

Distillers grains are an excellent source of energy, often testing between 85% and 95% total digestible nutrients (TDN). The form of energy also makes distillers grains attractive for grazing cattle. Since the starch is removed, the energy derived from distillers grains is primarily digestible fiber and fat.
